I also had this kind of theme and scene in mind of the Natza Kartania Shipbreaking Facility. [link] or something of the like when the Response teams get there.
The storyline for that is effectively Shaw and a Team of maceons and two of their ships, plus his own. Attack the Base and steal componants they need to power the gateways they control. the Facility is home to a Secret Tenebrean Project including the Gateway towers. He manages to steal it, Kills off his maceion Troops with controlled Vesta Narada Swarms. unleases Massive Hordes of Creatures known as shoggoth [link] and Flying polyps [link] into the three Vortex class ships that make up the base by setting the gateway between universes. and rewrites History so that he and his men were never there.
Because of the nature of the Vortex ships and the Gateway tower in their center, Simply blowing up the facility with the Weapons of the various empires. and because of the powerful Gravitational fields around the ships, Large scale warships cant get closer then 20 kilometers.
I kind of want it to be something that really tests the abilities of the various empires militaries and smaller drop ships and fighters. not something that a powerful military can simply take out to keep the storyline on track.
i just hope its not all glory to the Spartoi, i kinda want the Union to take a major role in at least something. Union tactics would suite this operation very well, large fast surgical strikes with small elite forces... what we do best!
It was orginnally, at least according to soundwave going to be a way for him to show off an elite Spartoi team called the TITANS. but im not having that.
Ok man thats awesome! I shall write up what the Union will provide as well as the Skia (shadows) as they will be needed for this and more importantly their small ships. While small they are horrendously powerful weapon wise.
