Tenebrean Civilian concepts by TenebraesRising Tenebrean Civilian concepts by TenebraesRising
the first concept sheet of the Civilians of the tenebrean Empire, it's colonies, and it's cities. as well as the types of suits and clothes they commonly wear. A commonplace feature of any tenebrean civilian or otherwise is the presence of their V.E.A. unit, which is worn on their chest, shoulder, and back. It is often integrated into their clothes and suits.

well for one that means that you're way too afraid of getting old. 2 it tells me I need to work on how I arrange these guys in pictures. and 3.. it really does look like that doesn't it? I just noticed that.

I think it's more because their facial features match err on the first two anyway. The third has a similar hair style so it seems like it might be the same guy sort of at differing stages of life.

Well thats the fourth point. I need to work on adding some variety to my guys facial features. but it very well could serve as that, Showing us a typical tenebrean at different points in his life. i might do an official picture of that in the future.

its still quite a representation, eve if I misinterpreted it is still really great art. I do have one question why do the calvera end up with red eyes?

the red eyes are a kind of optical effect, akin to cats having brilliant green eyes when light is shown into them. Their retinas reflect and interpret the light spectrum's differently. and as such have a different design to them that shines red.
in normal lighting they would look glassy, like dull gemstones.

oooooh neat, I can see why you don't draw the normal light version it's not quite as ominous looking I bet.

Not as much no, But i might attempt to do a better image of it one day. It definitely creates an alien looking glassy stare to them.
